Heartbreak for Oakwood FC as Dial Square strike late to snatch win – the match in 12 pictures

Oakwood FC were hit by a late sucker punch as Dial Square struck deep into second half stoppage time to snatch a 2-1 victory at Tinsley Lane.

Adam Aziz had given the visitors a half-time lead from the penalty spot. The Oaks then drew level on 68 minutes through Luca Intelligenza’s close-range effort.

Oakwood looked to have done enough to claim a hard-earned point – until Dial substitute Danny Taylor latched on to Daniel Wanyonyi’s through ball in second half stoppage time and rounded the Oaks goalkeeper to slot into an empty net.

The defeat leaves Oakwood 16th in SCFL Division One going into this Saturday’s trip to third-from-bottom Ringmer AFC.

Dial Square, meanwhile, are up to eighth and host bottom-of-the-table Shoreham this weekend.
