Horsham FC Women up to second in league
Horsham FC Women climbed to second in the SCWGFL Premier Division with a strong 4-1 win over Burgess Hill Town.
Town struck first, but Horsham hit back in devastating fashion, scoring twice in under a minute through the fantastic Bryony Irvine and Izzie King to turn the game around.
A well‑worked third followed after the break – Jordan Lucas delivered a free kick to King, whose cross set up Irvine for her second of the match.
Another brilliant Lucas set piece sealed it, this time finished by Siobhan Bridgewater to make it 4-1.
A clinical, confident performance that sees Horsham leapfrog their visitors in the table.

Articles submitted to us in this way may be prioritised over anything sent to us by other means.
