Horsham FC Women’s first team manager departs club
Horsham FC Women’s first team boss, Kaz Bridgewater, has left the club ahead of the 2026-27 season.
Bridgewater was named manager of the Hornettes in December 2024 following the departure of Steve McGrane.
She guided Horsham to third in the SCWGFL Premier Division in 2024-25 before finishing second last season.
Bridgewater also took the Hornettes to the SCWGFL Challenge Cup final in 2025-26 – but they were unable to claim honours as they suffered a narrow 3-2 defeat to Three Bridges, who beat Horsham to the SCWGFL Premier Division title, at Lancing’s Culver Road.

A statement posted on Horsham’s website said: “Horsham FC can confirm that women’s first team manager, Kaz Bridgewater, will be leaving the club ahead of the 2026-27 season.
“We would like to place on record our sincere thanks to Kaz for the commitment, passion and hard work she has given to the women’s team during her time with the club. Kaz has played an important role in supporting and developing the team both on and off the pitch and has been a valued part of the club.
“As a club, we have clear ambitions for the future of the women’s programme and believe the time is right to move in a new direction as we look to progress towards tier five and beyond in the coming seasons.
“Rob Semark will oversee the women’s football programme in the interim while the club finalises the next phase of its women’s management structure.
“Everyone at Horsham FC would like to thank Kaz for her efforts and wish her the very best for the future.”
