Liam Humphreys scored the decisive goal in the 23rd minute of a dominant first half, in which the Swans might have gone even further ahead.

But feeling the effects of an illness bug which had hit the squad last week, Storrington faded in the second half, and it took ‘four or five great saves’ from keeper Jason Downer to preserve the advantage.

Boss Dyer said: “The first half display was excellent and we should have killed the game off before half time, it was probably the best half of football we played all season. Illness definitely affected us in the second half but great credit to the lads who were so determined.”
