Is Brighton v Watford on TV, what's the team news, what are the odds?

Brighton & Hove Albion will look to bounce back from their disappointing 4-2 defeat at Fulham when they entertain Watford at the Amex on Saturday.

The Seagulls led 2-0 at half-time at Craven Cottage but Fulham hit back to win 4-2 as Brighton suffered a third successive Premier League defeat.

Watford are ninth in the Premier League, seven points ahead of Brighton, after their six-game unbeaten run came to an end with a late 2-1 defeat at Tottenham on Wednesday.

What time does Brighton v Watford kick off?

Kick-off at the Amex is 3pm. The sides last met on the opening day of the season when Watford were victorious 2-0 at Vicarage Road.

Is the game on TV?

No but Albion's following two games will both be televised. The FA Cup replay with West Brom will be shown on BBC One on February 6 and the Seagulls' Premier League match with Burnley will be on Sky Sports on February 9.

Highlights of Saturday's match will be on Match of the Day on BBC One from 10.30pm that evening.

What’s the team news?

Brighton will hope left-back Bernardo is fit to return from a hamstring injury. Albion boss Chris Hughton said earlier this week that he should be back in training on Thursday.

Alireza Jahanbakhsh will be back available after returning from the Asian Cup, following Iran's semi-final defeat to Japan. Jahanbakhsh has not played for the Seagulls since early November after suffering a hamstring injury in the defeat at Everton and then linking up with Iran.

Jose Izquierdo (knee) is again likely to miss out for Albion.

Abdoulaye Doucoure, Kiko Femenia and Sebastian Prodl are all doubts for the match at the Amex after missing the Hornets' defeat at Spurs. Watford boss Javi Gracia had hoped Doucoure and Femenia would be fit to return for the game at Wembley.

Who is the referee?

Simon Hooper will be the man in the middle at the Amex. He has shown 11 yellow cards in five Premier League matches this season.

The assistant referees will be Daniel Cook and Darren Eaton, with Roger East the fourth official.
