Lancers hit four to move into semi-finals
Lancers set up a last four tie with Broadbridge Heath after a brace apiece from Rich Greenfield and Lewis Finney.
The hosts made a dream start to the contest as they went ahead after just 33 seconds when visiting keeper Alex Harris failed to gather a cross and Greenfield snaffled up the loose ball from close range.

Hide AdHassocks were still reeling from Lancing’s lightning start when the hosts doubled their lead on 16 minutes when Greenfield slammed home from 20 yards.
Ex-Lancer Brad Bant rattled the crossbar for Hassocks, while Mike Williamson went close to a third at the other end when his rasping effort flew narrowly over the bar.
Hassocks’ Rowan Wallis was thwarted by a last-ditch challenge from Josh Spinks and another former Lancing man, Jonno Melia, lashed a shot wide without troubling Callum Fidler.
Lancers took their foot off the gas after the break but still looked relatively untroubled, despite the greater attacking threat from their opponents.

Hide AdFinney then gave the scoreline a somewhat flattering look with two goals in injury-time.
He fired in off the bar after Hassocks failed to clear a corner in the first additional minute, before he netted with a simple finish after rounding Harris two minutes later.
Lancers boss Ash Bailey said: “I thought we played extremely well, controlled the majority of the game and utilised the ball well, particularly in the first half.
“The second half was a bit dull but we were persistent and resolute and got two more goals in the last few minutes.

“Attention must now turn to another difficult game on Friday against an in-form Eastbourne United side.”
