Two goals early in the second half from Nick Tsaroulla and Ashley Nadeson followed by a close range effort from Jordan Tunnicliffe handed John Yems a memorable victory over Marcelo Bielsa, but who else shone for the Red Devils? Here is how journalism student Sam Cox rated the Reds. You can read Coren Blackburn's match report here
9. Jake Hessenthaler - 8
Another of Crawley’s unsung heroes, Hessenthaler was able alleviated Leeds’s pressure during the first half by trying to drive forward when given the ball.
10. Sam Matthews - 7
Looked to cause Leeds problems by continually driving at the heart of Bielsa’s side’s defence. Consistently asked questions of the Premier League outfit in the second half and was taken off on 71 minutes.
11. Ashley Nadeson - 10
Undoubtedly Crawley Town’s man of the match. His pace and power caused Leeds problems, especially during the second half. Doubled the hosts lead.
12. Tom Nichols - 9
No stranger to an FA Cup shock after featuring for Exeter City in their 2-2 draw with Liverpool in 2016. Was unfortunate not to score in the first half. Provided the assist to Nadeson’s strike.
