Youth-team graduate Dunk has made more than 200 appearances for the club, while Duffy joined the Seagulls from Blackburn for a then club-record fee in August 2016.

Albion boss Chris Hughton said: “I am delighted for both Lewis and Shane. They have been terrific players for the club; helping us win promotion and establish ourselves in the Premier League last season.

“Both are vital members of the squad, and it’s very pleasing that they’ve committed their long-term futures to the club.”

Dunk said: “I’m very pleased. I’ve been here since I was a little boy from the age of ten years old, so to commit to another five years to this fantastic club is an amazing feeling.

“It was such an easy decision; I’m here in my hometown playing football in the Premier League with these amazing fans behind us.
