Kevin Pietersen had a meeting last night with Andrew Strauss, the director of England cricket, and Tom Harrison, the ECB chief executive, in which Piers Morgan, the player’s friend and confidant, predicted he would be told that he had no England future. That came on a day when Pietersen played what he considered to be one of his finest innings, a career-best 326 not out from 373 balls. (The Times)
