Bexhill United will entertain neighbours Westfield in Macron Store Sussex County Football League Division Two. Kick-off at The Polegrove is 7.45pm.

Under new manager Marc Munday, Bexhill have enjoyed an excellent start to the season. The Pirates have won their last four games in all competitions and have picked up 13 points from a possible 15 in the league.

Bexhill also boast the division’s joint best defensive record having conceded just three goals in their five league matches so far. They’ve kept back-to-back clean sheets in their last two outings against Seaford Town and Worthing United.

Westfield have had a mixed start to the term with two wins, two draws and two defeats in their first six league encounters, although the 4-3 loss at Oakwood on Saturday was their first league reverse since the opening day.

The Westies, whose manager Jethro Warren is a former Bexhill player, have provided good value for the spectators so far with their league contests producing an average of four-and-a-half goals per game.

Chris Cumming-Bart could make his debut for Bexhill and Kevin Barden is expected to return, but Dan Hill is suspended, Linton Rogers has work commitments, and Munday and Dan Cruikshank are struggling with injury.

Westfield may opt to make a change or two from their line-up at the weekend as Andy Hales and Aaron Parris are set to return, and Steve Thomson might come back into the squad after injury.
