Mitsubishi help get Bosham motoring

BOSHAM FC's under-16s held a presentation fun day at Bosham.

The weather was poor but that didn’t stop players, family and friends supporting the day and raising some funds.

There was the opportunity to reflect on a successful season which saw them finish third, three points behind title winners Worthing United Colts.

In the last game, Bosham won 3-2 at Worthing to become the only team to beat them this season.

Manager Frank Antony thanked all the players for their efforts this season and looks forward to their first season in the under-18s.

Those who ran the line, served refreshments, provided transport and supported fundraising events were also praised.

The team are sponsored Lewis Mitsubishi, whose director Paul Tregear presented the awards.

Antony said: “Paul has been very supportive towards the youth side of the club and we were delighted to hear he has kindly agreed to continue the sponsorship for next season.”

Award winners were Jack Antony (parents’ player); Tim Callen (top goalscorer); Phil Merrrick (club man of the season); Aaron Domblides (most improved player); Tim Callen and Will Burch (players’ players of the season); Stuart Andrews (manager’s player).
