Cardiff City manager Neil Warnock praised his side after their 2-1 Premier League win over Brighton & Hove Albion this afternoon.

The Bluebirds fought back from conceding after just six minutes to win with goals from Callum Paterson and Sol Bamba, who hit the winner in the last minute.

Albion had Dale Stephens sent off on 34 minutes, with the score 1-1, for a foul on Greg Cunningham.

Warnock said: "It was a fantastic finish to the game from our point of view. I can't really ask any more.

"We are what we are. We've got a good group of lads, we're a little bit limited in certain areas but we've improved so much from last year.

"We are catching up at the bottom end and the players are giving everything, so I've got no complaints at all today."

On Stephens' dismissal, Warnock said: "Dale Stephens is an honest and genuine lad, but I can understand why the referee gave it.

"When I look at Joe Ralls' sending-off at Tottenham and the danger element of that and today, I can see why he gave it.

"I thought it was one that was going to make our lives a bit more difficult but fortunately we stuck at it and got the winner."
