East Preston won 1-0 at Sidley on Tuesday evening in County League Division 1, while Peacehaven’s match at East Grinstead was postponed and EP boss Dominic Di Paola said: “Normally, it is a match I’d look forward to but I haven’t even really had time to think about it.

“We’d been preparing for the Sidley game all week and now we have about a day to prepare for this game. It is what it is, though.

“Maybe we’ll go into the game slightly fresher as we played on Tuesday and they might be a bit rusty, although they have played a few more games than us recently.”

EP are without James Rhodes and Richard Hudson, who are both cup-tied, while Rob Boddy and Shaun Charles went off on Tuesday. Boddy is a doubt with a hamstring injury, although Charles should be fit.

The game kicks off at 7.30pm at Shoreham’s Middle Road ground.

EP will meet Brighton in the semi-finals of the Sussex Senior Cup after they beat Three Bridges 2-0 in the last eight on Tuesday.

No date has yet been set for the match.
