Worthing Football Club sealed a Ryman League South Division play-off place with a 1-1 draw at Guernsey this afternoon.

Brannon O’Neill gave Rebels the lead midway through the second half but Guernsey levelled through Dave Rihoy 16 minutes from time.

Rebels’ play-off place was secured after sixth-placed Hastings could only draw 2-2 at Ramsgate and trail Worthing by four points with just one game remaining.

Worthing could finish anywhere from second to fourth in the table and, as things currently stand, would travel to Hythe in the play-off semi-finals.

Rebels complete their season at home to Ramsgate next Saturday.
