The team stayed at the same hotel that the England national team use, walking in the footsteps of the likes of Harry Kane, Nikita Parris and Lewis Dunk.

The team participated in a training session, led by an FA coach, before having a tour of the facilities, including the England changing room, swimming pool, futsal arena, indoor training pitch and the main outdoor pitch which is an exact replica of Wembley. In the evening they had the privilege of dining in the Terry Venables Suite.

"I knew that all of the England teams were based here, but I didn’t know that teams like Barcelona had played here too, so knowing we have walked where Messi walked is really cool.

"It has also helped our team to become better friends and I know we will improve because of this.“

Manager Ricardo Moratalla added: “Huge thanks must go to Kev Klamm, one of our coaches, who has organised the whole trip.

"The facilities are world class, and for Roffey Robins Atletico to gain a little insight into the world of elite football is something that will stay with the team, and me as manager, forever.”
