Seagulls look to keep momentum going at Wolves

Having carried on where they left off from before the international break, Albion will be hoping to keep their impressive start to the season going with a tough trip to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Chris Hughton's side have picked back-to-back home wins over Hull City and Rotherham United to take them five points clear at the top of the Championship.

It's a remarkable start that, as has already been said numerous times, very few people would have predicted.

The stark contrast with their last league campaign is clearly evident. Albion have picked up 19 points by the middle of September, and last season it took until just before Christmas to reach that amount. Ironically, they reached that tally on their last visit to Molineux, a 1-1 draw that was Sami Hyypia's final game in charge for Albion before tendering his resignation.

At that time, the former Premier League side were among the challenging pack of sides looking for promotion to the top flight. They have, however, yet to truly recapture that form yet this season. Kenny Jackett's side have picked up two wins from their six games so far this season, with three narrow defeats.

Their smartest business of the transfer window looks to be keeping hold of Benik Afobe, who was pursued by Norwich over the summer. The former Arsenal youth player scored 13 goals after signing for Wolves in January and has netted three times so far this campaign. With Adam Le Fondre alongside him up front, they both know where the goal is at this level and will be a threat to Albion's unbeaten league run this weekend.
