Sponsors boost young Chichester City footballers

Chichester City Youth under-eights have just finished their first season in the Arun & Chichester Youth League '“ and have had a double sponsorship boost to celebrate.

The team formed last summer and have developed into a great bunch of boys, says manager Ian Overington.

“We have 13 boys signed for us and two more ready to sign for us next season,” he said. “Our first season has gone well and they’re starting to play good football and we are looking forward to next season when we will play in the league.

Sussex car dealership Frosts and The Marketing Kitchen have both put their names to the team’s kits.

Frosts of Chichester are proud to be the new training kit sponsors. Jason Tubb, manager at Frosts Chichester, and dealership mascot Freddie Frost were on hand to support the team at at a training morning. Tubb said: “We’re committed to supporting the local community any way we can and we couldn’t be happier to be associated with the under-eights.

“The team play on the field behind our dealership on the Chichester bypass so we will be sure to show our support.”

The Marketing Kitchen Ltd are match kit sponsors for the under-eights and say they have enjoyed seeing them grow into a good team.
