Stallibrass shines on his debut as Hurst hit 11 past Clymping

Debutant Jordan Stallibrass and Nick Tilley both notched hat-tricks as a relentless Billingshurst smashed 11 goals past Clymping on Saturday.

Nathan Stepney bagged a brace and Oli Leslie, Ben Brooker and Jake Chadwick were also on target at Jubilee Fields against the league strugglers, who started with just ten players.

The home side had the lead on seven minutes as Tilley ghosted into the box and headed home Leslie’s cross from the right.

Hurst doubled their lead on 26 minutes when Nathan Stepney smashed home a low cross from the right and Stallibrass added his first a minute later as he picked his spot into the far corner.

Tilley added his second when he headed home a Ben Brooker corner on 31 minutes and then provider became scorer when Brooker swept home an Leslie cross eight minutes later. The best goal of the game came two minutes before half-time. Stallibrass dazzled three defenders and clipped the ball over the keeper.

Clymping’s late arrivals restored them up to a full quota a half-time but the second period was only five minutes old when Leslie slotted home at the end of a solo run.

Goal eight came on 52 minutes when Tom Clarke found himself down the right wing and crossed for Nathan Stepney followed up after his header hit the post. A minute later, Tilley completed his hat-trick when he swept home Brooker’s cross

On 65 minutes, Tilley teed up Stallibrass for his third of the afternoon and Chadwick hit goal 11 with two minutes left.
