Andone was charged with violent conduct after an off-the-ball incident with West Brom's Sam Field in Wednesday's FA Cup fourth round replay win at West Brom.

The 25-year-old Romanian denied the charge but was banned for three games by an Independent Regulatory Commission.

He will miss Brighton's Premier League home game with Burnley tomorrow, the FA Cup fifth round tie with Derby and the Premier League match at Leicester.

An FA spokesperson said: "Florin Andone will miss Brighton’s next three matches after being charged with violent conduct.

"Whilst he denied the charge, which followed an incident not seen by the match officials but caught on video in the 27th minute of the Emirates FA Cup fixture against West Brom on 6 February 2019, it was subsequently found proven by an Independent Regulatory Commission."
