Sky report that Connolly, 18, is stalling on the offer of a new contract because of concerns over his pathway into the Albion first team, and the Seagulls are considering letting him out on loan in the January transfer window.

Before joining the Seagulls, Connolly was on trial at Manchester United and Sky Sports News reports the Manchester giants are monitoring the Irish striker's development, along with Manchester City and other clubs from the Bundesliga.
