The U’s will entertain Hythe Town in round one of the Ryman Football League’s Robert Dyas Cup. Kick-off at The Pilot Field is 7.45pm.

United may well use the game as an opportunity to have a look at some players who haven’t featured much in the opening three league matches, particularly as they will also host Hythe in the league this coming Saturday.

Garry Wilson’s side won its opening two Division One fixtures last week before losing 2-1 away to Chatham Town on Saturday despite a first half goal from Jack Harris.

Hythe have picked up one point from their first three league outings and their league meetings at The Pilot Field over the past two seasons have both ended in defeat.

Admission prices for tonight’s game have been reduced to £5 for adults and £3 for concessions with under-18s, as usual, free of charge.
