Horsham manager Simon Colbran revealed his side’s preparations were put into disarray by the breakdown of a car transporting four of his players to the match.

Despite going into the game on the back of an eight-match unbeaten run, Colbran’s unchanged team lost 2-0 at home to local rivals Burgess Hill.

Goals in the 36th and 49th minutes by Max Miller and Spencer Slaughter settled the game in favour of the visitors who started the clash eight places below Hornets in the Ryman South.
