VIDEO: Wick reach final with shoot-out success
WICK & BARNHAM Football Club booked their place in the Division 2 Challenge Cup final with a 5-4 penalties success over AFC Uckfield last night.
Substitute Kerry Hardwell had fired Wick in front twice in the contest but two Scott Taylor penalties meant the tie finished level at 2-2 and it went to a shoot-out.
Despite being pegged back twice, Wick were not to be denied as Jordan Matthews saved Drew Greenall’s penalty to ensure his side booked a final spot.
