Gwion Edwards hit the bar for Crawley in the second half and substitute Gavin Tomlin and Matt Harrold both had chances to score.

Finally Portsmouth made it 3-0 with seven minutes to go through a goal created by massive run by substitute Ben Tollitt which was tapped in by another player who had come on from the bench, Gary Roberts.
