Westfield announce raft of new signings

Westfield have announced a host of new signings ahead of their opening pre-season friendly at home to Hastings United tomorrow (Saturday).

Dominic Clarke, Liam Miles and Matt Dadswell became the latest trio to put pen to paper on Tuesday night following the likes of Dan Foster, Ross Markham, Andy Garman, Lewis Parsons, Adam Hurley, Aaron Parris, Martyn Durrant, Sam White, Rickkie Rand and Jamie Lindsay. Lawrence Brand is the only member of last season’s side yet to commit.

Westfield have been back in training for two weeks now following a decent campaign in Sussex County Football League Division Two last time around.

“There’s been a fantastic attitude from the lads so far, despite a lack of ball-work,” joint manager Tony Harris said. “We’ve retained the majority of last year’s squad too. It’s been very encouraging.”

Kick-off tomorrow is 3pm and the club is hoping for a decent crowd.
