'When' - Crawley Town star sends positive message to fans despite another game without win
Harry Forster praised Crawley Town fans and sent them a positive message after their 3-0 defeat at Cheltenham Town
Reds were goalless at half-time but were opened up by three set pieces in the second half and condemned to another loss and extended their winless run in League Two to ten games.
But Reds travelling fans – who travelled to Gloucestershire in freezing conditions for an early 12noon kick off – were as vocal as ever in their support for Scott Lindsey’s men.
Speaking to Gary Smith from BBC Radio Surrey and Sussex, Forster said: “Everything we do on the pitch is for them and we can't stress enough how much their support means to us and how important it is and how important it will be come the end of the season. When we do stay up, it will be down to them.

“We thank them for coming today and their great numbers. It's not a close place to come from Crawley and especially with the time as well, midday kick-off. They've had an unbelievable effort and with their undying support, we will start getting results from them.”
And when Smith highlighted Forster’s positivity with the phrase ‘when we stay up’, the winger said: “There's no question about that. No question about that. So we just need that support every week.”
And on the game and performance, Forster said: “First half, we had a lot of the ball, created a couple of chances where we can easily go one ahead. But the second half is just so…such a different feeling out there to the first half, for a reason I can't put my finger on.
“I don't feel like they created too many chances from open play, but each time they were piling on the pressure from corners and set pieces and that's ultimately where they got their goals from. That turned the game on its head, really.”
With Cambridge United still in the FA Cup, Reds do not have a game now until January 17 when they host Notts County at the Broadfield Stadium.
