Jack Butler rates the Reds’ players on show as Tom Nichols’ late penalty saw Crawley draw 1-1 against Walsall at the People’s Pension Stadium. Do you agree?

. Glenn Morris 6.5
Had little to do throughout, but was sent the wrong way after a composed penalty saw Walsall take the lead. Not much he could do to be fair.

. George Francomb - 7.5
Decent knocks looking forward to Nadesan, and great bit of covering when McNerney was beaten in a 1v1, early in the first half. Offered a lot going forward, and picked out Nadesan with some wonderful whipped crosses. In the second, Francomb sat in front of the Crawley back three and stopped most of the travelling sides’ counters.

. Joe McNerney - 7.5
See ball head ball - McNerney must have the phrase pinned above his spot in the dressing room. Dealt with Walsalls’ long throws with ease. Booked for a clattering tackle.

. Jordan Tunnicliffe - 7.5
Swept up behind the back line really well and was unlucky for the penalty. Admittedly, I am along way away - but it looked soft. Put his body on the line to win the penalty. Was as brave as it gets with the keeper flying out.

. Jack Powell - 7.5
Great ball across the box to find Tilley in the second half and worked hard in the middle - especially, in the first half when the Reds were outnumbered. Good again from Powell.

13. Josh Wright - 6.5
In his 20 minutes, Wright was energetic in the middle, but wasteful when he had the chance to pass forwards. Gave the ball away a lot.

14. Davide Rodari - 6
On for last five, but had little time to make an impact as Crawley pushed forward for the equaliser.

15. Nick Tsaroulla - 6.5
Subbed on for last twenty, and hung wide left. Didn’t touch the ball much, and looked to be playing a game on his own as his teammates looked to overload and attack down the right-hand side. Booked for a professional foul as Walsall broke and put the ball back into the area for the penalty.

16. Tony Craig - 6.5
Subbed on at half time and played in the middle of the back three to give Crawley another option against Walsall’s long throw. Wasn’t really tested as Walsall sat back, but good to see Craig get 45 minutes under his belt.
