Assistant head coach Lee Bradbury and winger James Tilley both said it felt like a loss in the dressing room afterwards. But who stood out for the Reds?
These are the player ratings for the Carlisle United match on Saturday from supporters travelling back on Sunday after the game
9. Jack Powell 7
Constantly getting involved and help out the defence on a number of occasions
10. Ashley Nadesan 6
Scored the goal that put the visitors ahead, but then could have sealed the win but blasted the second half penalty into orbit.
11. Tom Nichols 7
Was always the outlet from the defence and constantly running down the flanks but didn't get any real good chances. Substituted in the final 15 minutes
12. Caleb Watts - n/a
Shortest debut ever, came on for Jack Payne and showed some class but only lasted 10 minutes when picking up a likely hamstring injury and was himself replaced.
