Wilson relishing '˜massive' Guernsey clash

Hastings United Football Club manager Garry Wilson is looking forward to a '˜massive game' away to Guernsey today (Saturday).

Eighth-placed United will continue their quest for a Ryman Football League Division One South play-off spot by flying out to the Channel Islands to face the 10th-placed Green Lions.

“It’s a massive game,” said Wilson. “It’s the first time for me to go over to Guernsey. It’s supposed to be a nice place to play and a great opportunity for some of the lads, travelling differently and a decent crowd to play in front of.”

Billy Medlock, who scored both goals in United’s 2-0 win at home to Guernsey last month, is available again after completing a two-match ban, but Simon Johnson (Achilles) is highly unlikely to be fit. Kick-off is 2pm.
