Worthing lose at Maidstone as title drama goes to last day - the match in 31 pictures

The Rebels’ 2-1 defeat at the Gallagher Stadium leaves them just one point clear at the top of National South, knowing a win at home to Ebbsfleet on Saturday will earn them the crown and automatic promotion to the National League Premier.

Wiktor Makowski put Worthing ahead on 13 minutes but TJ Bramble levelled on the half-hour and Hamzad Kargbo deflected in a Stones free-kick to win it for the hosts.

It was cruel on Worthing – but their fate is, importantly, still in their own hands.
