Worthing slip at Welling United - the match in 24 photos

Worthing’s recent run of National League South victories was halted at Welling United, where an Ollie Pearce penalty was all the Rebels had to show for their efforts.

Welling led 2-0 through goals by Anthony Grant and Reece Grant before Pearce gave Adam Hinshelwood’s team hope from the spot on 66 minutes. But they couldn’t find an equaliser and Sonny Fish finished things off with two injury-time goals for the hosts.

Worthing remain secons and host fellow play-off zone occupiers Braintree, who are seventh, on Saturday.
