Friesians' parade win

FOUR Friesian horses owned by Sarah Cockram, put in a winning appearance at the recent prestigious Harness Parade at Ardingly when driven by internationally renowned Gary Docking of Heyshott.

Sarah, who was delighted with the First Class Honours Award in the Team of Four section won by her horses, lives at Coldwaltham, near Pulborough. She is a regular fundraiser with her horses for the MacMillan Cancer Appeal. They were in action at the event raising more money for the charity.

Horses have always been part of Sarah's life, but she has turned to carriage driving in recent years and is a member of Brockham Harness Club. She was attracted to Friesians because of their wonderful temperament and her quartet are King Arthur, King Harold, Sweep and Henry.
