FROM BURGHLEY TO ARDINGLY

FRESH from winning Burghley, Britain's top rider William Fox-Pitt heads a record international field of more than 700 riders competing on September 22-23 at the South of England 2 Horse Trials on the Ardingly Showground.

This is a major highlight of the 2007 eventing season in the region, and with the valuable international CIC** it is the last crucial fixture in the South East Eventers' League.

Riders from 11 countries include some of Great Britain's leading lights, such as Mary King and Oliver Townend who will be fresh '“ hopefully with another Team Gold '“ from the European Championships, which take place this week.

Also competing is European Young Rider silver medallist Nicola Wilson (from Milland, Hants) and Team Gold medallist Georgie Spence.
