The market for the Friday, August 1, contest is headed by Buckingham Palace Handicap runner-up Horsted Keynes (Roger Varian) and eye-catching Windsor victor Homage (William Haggas), who are 10/1 joint-favourites with the sponsor.

Varian has also left in John Smith’s Cup hero and potential top-weight Farraaj (12/1), while Roger Charlton could be represented by Captain Cat (12/1), who has not run since taking out the Ladbrokes All-Weather Mile impressively at Lingfield Park on Good Friday.
