Lottbridge GC Seniors Section. Monthly Medal, Tuesday, September 3.

The Lottbridge Golf Club Seniors played in their September Medal recently. A drizzly start gave rise to a warm sunny finish and, with the course in excellent condition, some great scores were returned.

Senior Captain, Les Buckle, thanked Senior Vice-Captain, Dennis Sutherland, for starting everyone off; Senior Secretary, Wayne Funnell, for all of his administration work; Club Secretary, Tony Bryant and Club President, Jim Woolley, for entering all of the completed scorecards.

Thanks also to the Fairway Staff of Mike, Karen and Jack for looking after everyone.

Les Buckle then presented the prizes, as follows:

The overall Winner, on count back, with nett 62 was Richard Ellis.

Division 1 Winner, with nett 65 was David Keen. Division 2 Winner, with nett 62 was Pete Morgan.

Lowest gross winner was Richard Ellis with a fantastic 72.

Nearest the pin on holes 2/11 was Keith Body. Nearest the pin on holes 6/15 was Pete Morgan.

Nearest the pin on holes 9/18 was Charles Day.

Well played and congratulations to all of today's winners.

Finally, Les Buckle thanked everyone who took part at Lottbridge.
