H&B confident of winning start
HASTINGS & Bexhill begin their Sussex League Division One season on Saturday September 14 at home to Hellingly.
Assistant coach Rob Hamilton said: "We have not lost at home to Hellingly for as long as I can remember, so we are expecting to get off to a good start."
H&B prepared for the new rugby season with a friendly against Hove last Saturday, which ended in a 19-15 defeat. Paul Northen and Dave Milhan got the tries and captain Neil Redman kicked the rest of the points.
H&B are expected to field a full strength team for the match at William Parker which starts at 3pm.
