The players were informed of Hildreth’s appointment at the team’s training session last night (Wednesday).

Thunder begin their season at Leicester in the National Trophy on Saturday (September 15) but, due to planned family commitments, Hildreth will officially take charge of the team next Wednesday when he will lead Thunder’s training session.

His first game in charge will be the National Trophy home game against Medway Park Crusaders on September 22. Brame will step in this Saturday and coach the team at Leicester.
