HORLEY HUNTER TRIAL

HORLEY and District Riding Club has enjoyed a very successful year, with a substantial increase in numbers and many members benefiting from the expertise of Sandra Devulder at clinics.

The hunter trials held last month were again highly successful, although the club has warned that in future it might have to cancel the popular fixture unless enough members come forward to help.

It is vital to have enough stewards as well as jump judges and runners to conform with health and safety regulatations.

A condition of club membership is that members help at one event during the year. Training can be provided for tasks.

The next event will be on October 21 with a schooling day at East Bysshe, when the show jumps, dressage arena and cross-country course will all be in use from 10.30am to 3pm.
