The youngster joined Worthing for a second spell last season after plenty of appearances for the Hornets in the Ryman League, but featured mainly for Rebels’ under-21 side.

Working commitments have seen him playing in the West Sussex League so far this season.

Hornets boss Dominic Di Paola said: “I like him. I have watched him for three years and when he was at Worthing before in the youth team.

“I tried to get him on loan at East Preston a few years ago from Worthing, but they wouldn’t have it.

“I contacted him in pre-season, but he wanted to try it at Worthing. He did the warm-up at Whitehawk and was knackered so he will be a few weeks.

“With a bit of coaching he will be a really good player and he is a Horsham boy which is good.”
