Horsham girls represent south
HORSHAM'S under-16 girls' hockey team is to represent the south of England in the National Under-16 Indoor Hockey Championship.
On Sunday, the team travelled to City of London Freemen's School to take part in the south finals and by beating the other finalists '“ five clubs '“ they guaranteed their place to go forward to the national finals to be held on December 23 and 24 at the NEC in Birmingham.
The team were: Sophie Benton, Jess Dean, Louisa Denman (captain), Becky Heslop, Victoria and Georgina Trumpess, Lucy and Issy Wood with Georgina Humphreys (mascot).
