Elliott has been with the team since they were five years old, but has called time on his role, handing over to coach Evans, coach Crushiel and coach Thomson with promotion to the A Division still a distant possibility.

In freezing conditions, two tries each for Lewis Wilson, Ben Murphy and Rasmus Madum and one each from James Purbrick and George Carbone – was followed up with five conversions from Josh Medley before the referee brought a close to play after just 22 minutes in the cold weather. A friendly was then played where Oscar Nichols and George Carbone made tries followed up by two more from Lewis Wilson.

Man of the match honours were shared between Lewis Wilson and George Carbone.
