Horsham Snooker update: Horsham Club Wanderers’ Morgan upstages Roffey’s in-form Liley

Liley, who two weeks ago compiled a 72 break for Roffey G, then knocked in a magnificent this week 77 as his side beat Barns Green A 3-2 in Division 2.

But just as that looked to top the scoring charts, Morgan knocked in 90 for Division 1 side Horsham Club Wanderers in their 3-2 against Roffey GB, for whom James Boniface made a 21 break.

Elsewhere in Division 1, second placed Horsham Club B went down 3-2 away to Sporting Roffey despite a break of 40 from the consistent Darren Jordan.

Roffey E beat Loxwood Sports A 4-1 with Richard Tomsett making a 27 breakand bottom side Roffey C lost 1-4 at home to Oakwood Hill B while Warnham E beat Pulborough D 4-1 at home, aided by Geoff Skinner’s 26 break.

Aside from Liley’s heroics for Roffey G, Trevor Courquin hit a 72 break in the same match and elswehere in Division 2, Warnham A stay top after beating Holbrook Club B 4-1 and Roffey D move back into 2nd spot winning 2-3 away at Horsham Club Casuals for whom Andy Brander made a 33 break.

Also in Division 2, third placed Warnham B went down 3-2 away at Horsham Club C and YMCA A lost 2-3 at home to Rudgwick B.

There are new leaders in Division 3 after Rusper Village A stormed to the top with a 1-4 win at Horsham Club E, helped by a break of 21 from Davd Williamson.

Previous leaders Lowfield Heath were knocked off top spot when they lost 0-5 to Horsham Club D.

Elsewhere, Barns Green B beat bottom side Oakwood Hill C 3-2 and Pulborough F lost 2-3 at home to Roffey H.
