Jenni wins three titles in first season

A SUCCESSFUL first season for Bury rider Jenni Burgess (15) in British Eventing horse trials has earned her and her 12-year-old mare Bryndale Debutante three titles in the prestigious South East Eventers' League.

They were placed in every event they entered including winning their Intro sections at Iping and Firle Place. Initially they were unable to get into the final event at Tweseldown but eventually were able to do their first ever Pre-Novice finishing an impressive third.

Their Intro results earned Jenni the Grassroots Intro and Grassroots First Timer rankings sponsored by Localrider Magazine. Combined with that final Pre-Novice place, their points also secured the valuable WOW Overall Grassroots prize sponsored by First Thought Equine Ltd, winning a club saddle with inter-changeable headplate and panels.
