Koboah joins the Blues

Ringmer manager Steve Johnson has signed Eddie Koboah from Hailsham.

Johnson said: 'I'm chuffed, he's a player I like a lot. He's quick and can play down the middle or wide.

'He'll fit in perfectly with my policy of playing three up front.

'We perhaps lack a bit of pace in certain areas and Eddie will certainly add some.'

Hailsham manager Kenny McCreadie said: 'He wasn't getting a full game for us so he's moved on. That happens in football.'

The Blues are without a game on Saturday but go to Saltdean in the Brighton Charity Cup on Tuesday.

Following the recent tragic events at Festival Fireworks at The Broyle, Ringmer, in which two firefighters lost their lives, Ringmer and Crowborough Athletic will play a friendly match at the Caburn on Tuesday, January 23, 7.30pm kick-off, with all the proceeds going to the Fire and Rescue Service Benevolent Fund.

Both teams will field first-team squads and the three match officials will all be serving fire officers.
