LES SCORES HOLE IN ONE-FOR THE SECOND TIME
LES Salter (86) scored a second hole in one at Ifield's fourth hole, a 165 yard par three last week- almost 38 years to the day after he holed in one at the same hole.
He was playing in the Seniors' Captain's Day when he achieved the double at the course near Crawley, making it celebrations all round.
Les, who has been playing golf for 40 years, lives in Ifield. He took up golf when he was 46, having played cricket before that.
For his first hole in one he used a seven iron and last week at the same hole he took a five wood.
