Lindfield take the prizeas Haywards Heathhost annual tourney

Each club fielded a men’s, mixed and ladies pair and after an enjoyable afternoon of tennis it was Lindfield who emerged victorious, having won the largest number of games.

Cuckfield were a close runner up followed by Haywards Heath and Newick, the latter making their first appearance in this event.

Heath’s men’s pair of Martin Goodwin and Alex Matanguihan won all three of their matches.

Next year the event moves on to Lindfield, who will be looking for their third successive win.
