The girls were very much in control throughout the tournament, winning all their matches in two straight games. They will be hoping for a repeat performance at an under-17 gold tournament, also in Essex, this weekend.

Currently the number one ranked pair in the under-16 age group, 15-year-old Powell and Collis are aiming to be the number one pair in the under-17 category next season.
