Massive field take part in Clair Park run

A massive field of 143 runners took part in Saturday’s Clair Park run in Haywards Heath.
Runner 'Master of Masters' Martin Rees with Harrier Mark Davies - Martin is the multiple Veteran World Record holder for 5k, 10k, 5mile, 10 mile and half marathon- at Easter Sunday's Teifi 10 Road Race in Lampeter. It was also Welsh 10 mile Road Race Championship race. This week won by in form, Haywards Heath Harrier Russ Mullen 17.14 new PB and only 2 seconds outside the course record. 8th was Harrier Richard Sutor 20.25, 9th Julian Boyer 20.26 new PB, 10th and 1st Harrier lady was Mags lazell 20.30 for a new PB. Returning back to form in 11th was Barry Tullett 20.50, 12th Tim Hicks with 21.27.

Young Harrier Adam Dray was 35th with 24.16 new a great new PB. 54th with 25.28 new PB for Graham Kenward and 27.24 new PB for Linda Tullett. First run for Harrier Flora Lonie with 29.58. Rosemary Leworthy was finished with 30.20 and a new PB.

On Easter Sunday, Harrier Mark Davies took part in the Welsh Road Racing Series in Lampeter. In an event hosted by the Sarn Helen Club, the Teifi 10 mile Road race is a high standard field as it incorporated the Welsh 10 mile Road Race Championship.

The field included the ‘Master of Masters’ Les Croupiers runner, Martin Rees who is arguably the greatest Veteran runner of all time and the holder of Veteran World Record times for 5K, 10K, 5 mile, 10 mile and half marathon races. Davies was delighted with his fine 35th finish and new PB by 6 minutes of 63.53. Martin Rees completed the race in 8th with 55.27 in this top notch competition.
