The striker remains a legend amongst Reds fans for his 49 goals in 65 games which helped the club win the Conference in the 2010/11 season.

Tubbs was the top scorer in League 2 the following season before he joined boyhood club Bournemouth for £800,000.

Having found game time limited at the Cherries, the 29 year old has been on loan at Rotherham this season, but cut short his time there to re-sign for Crawley.

Reds fans will be delighted with the signing, which is subject to Football League ratification, and Tubbs will be presented to the media at a press conference at 12.30pm today.
