Matthew puts in superb performance in Dubai Classic
WEST Sussex Golf Club member Matthew Turner put in a fine performance as an amateur against the world's top professionals at last week's Dubai Classic golf championship.
After two days he finished at 2 under par to make the cut- beating top golfer Ernie Els who failed to qualify for the last two days.
Matthew (17), A Sussex junior player with a handicap of -2, finished the four day tournament on level par and in 51st place out of an entry of 126 golfers.
